Do you want to apply microcement over existing tiles in your bathroom or toilet? Then read on quickly below the photo to see the end result!
Applying Microcement over tiles is easy, as long as you prepare properly. To prevent the joints from remaining visible in the final result, it is important to use a leveling mortar with reinforcement mesh. This creates an even, stable base for your Beton ciré finish.
Benefits and approach
A big advantage of working over tiles is the convenience: if the tiles are firmly attached, you don't have to remove them. You save time, demolition work and maintain a solid base - ideal for a bathroom or toilet.
Please note: always remove all old sealant before you start. Microcement does not adhere to sealant. Use a sealant residue remover and make the surface completely clean, dry and grease-free. This way you can be sure that your Microcement adheres well and stays in place.
