How do I apply microcement to the wall?

That depends entirely on your situation. With a well-prepared wall (skid tape and cement-based plaster) you can start directly with the primer and then the microcement finish layers. Then you finish it off with presealer and coating, a total of 4 steps.

For a project on tiles we offer a waterproof membrane (Wall Allround). For multiple substrates (differences in suction) our Wall Pro package is suitable.

Which surfaces are suitable for microcement on the wall?

You can apply microcement on many surfaces! Suitable surfaces are, for example, sheet material with smooth seams and mesh. You can also think of cellular or aerated concrete blocks, plasterboards, fermacel and wedi plates.

It is important that you know exactly what kind of surface you have, so that you can find the right package in our webshop. Is your surface not listed? Please contact us.

Is it easy to apply microcement to the wall?

Anyone can learn to apply microcement! Since you save a lot of money, it is interesting to invest some time in it. We recommend taking a workshop, after which anyone can actually start a project. In the workshop you can ask all your project-specific questions, which means that the chance of things going wrong is actually very small.

Of course, you still have to install the parts in the correct order, but that cannot go wrong if you use our manual.

How much does microcement cost per m² on the wall?

The price of a microcement package on the wall ranges from €19/m² to €42/m², depending on your surface and application.

A decorative application does not require additional mortars and PU coating, and is therefore somewhat cheaper.

A bathroom wall with multiple substrates or wide joints between the tiles (>3mm) requires a premium leveling mortar and is therefore somewhat more expensive.
