What is the microcement PU Coating?

The PU Coating forms the protective top layer over Microcement. This transparent coating is water-repellent, scratch-resistant and also resistant to oil and dirt. This makes it ideal for bathrooms, toilets, floors and countertops.

The PU Coating is a two-component sealer (A + B) and suitable for mineral surfaces such as concrete, cement-based plasterwork and plasterboard.

How do you apply the PU Coating?

Mix the A and B components in a ratio of 10:1. Do not mix more than you can use within 45 minutes: the product hardens quickly.

Use a microfiber roller and apply the coating in two layers. For bathrooms, showers and countertops we recommend three layers for maximum protection.

Practical information: consumption and drying time

The PU Coating is supplied as standard in our Microcement packages, Wall Base package, not waterproof. How do you use the coating?

  • Drying time: approx. 2 hours for layer 1, approx. 8 hours for layer 2
  • Consumption: 100 grams per m²
  • Tip: work in lanes and avoid visible roller tracks
